There is a product called inkAID Precoat that is intended to "prepare
papers of all kinds, aluminum, acrylic sheets and wood, among many other
surfaces" for inkjet printing. "Like the coatings on commercially
prepared inkjet papers, canvasses and films, inkAID is designed to
control the size of the inkjet dot, adhere the ink to the substrate and
