This seems a political problem and not a scientific one. The bigger
question I have is whether the SRM will change their view if they knew
they are wrong. Without trying to relate to the current politics, some
people in this world like to execute their power knowing they are
wrong for various reasons. Organizations like SRM would worry about
losing their funding if there isn't any safety risk in your university
and there is no record of their action. I would check their records
first.
