Hi Judy and Agustin,
I used the brown Ferric Ammonium Citrate years ago because that all I could
get... and it worked nicely!

Most formulas in the old books were written for the brown, since the green
was too expensive for regular use until well into 20th century. Tho I've
never used the brown, it's my understanding that it's simply slower, that
all else is comparable...
