Dear List . . our good friend, Roger Kockaerts, of Atelier pH7 in
Brussels, has not been able
to send emails to the list. He asked me to post the new exhibit of
our dear list-member, Sam
Wang, who is having an exhibit @ pH7. Below is the information. Visit
the web site and

Sam was born in Beijing and grew up in Hong Kong. He received his MFA
degree in photography from the
University of Iowa in 1966, after which he joined the faculty at
Clemson University in South Carolina
teaching art photography. Much of his recent work combines digital
imagery with alternative printing
processes: platinum/palladium, cyanotype, and gum.

Beginning in 1978, he made round images with cameras that he built in
order to include the entire image
circles of wide-angle lenses. Originally designed to capture intimate
landscapes of the American Southeast,
these varied in sizes from 11x14”, 5x7”, 4x5”, to 120 medium format.

For those of you who live relatively nearby we warmly recommend to
come over to admire Sam's masterly
circular Pt-Pd prints.

On appointment only from monday thru friday.
We wish you all a happy new year .

Roger
