Unless there is some reason not to, size both sides of the paper. This is
what I do whenever I need sized paper for alt work, and it works very well.
A bonus is that coating is much easier -- just soak the paper in the size,
drain, and hang to dry. (Depending on the viscosity of your sizing
solution, you may want to squeegee after draining. I use a low-viscosity
bath and do not need to do this.)
