You are right Charles,
You can get up to 135v at a beauty supply place, but more commonly 20, 30
and 40v. The 135v is...interesting...because it is so potent it tends to
bulge the plastic bottle at the bottom and not sit well. I have quit buying
it and stay with the safer 20V for my processes of choice. Either way, it is
very cheap, but be sure to buy the plain stuff, not the stuff that is
scented, creamy, and has additives as it is used to bleach/highlight/frost
hair.
I don't know the exact correlations between volumes and percentages, but if
I am not mistaken the drug store kind is 3.4%/10v? Some scientist on the
list can say what the 20,30, and 40v are. It doesn't just follow linearly.
