I too have observed lots of requests for basic information on alternative
processes. It's time to make a FAQ. I will jump in and volunteer to organize
the production of a FAQ.
I think the quickest way to make a FAQ is for members of this list to submit
brief summaries of the processes they know well and a list of references. If
you would like to contribute to the FAQ please Email me NOT TO THE LIST. When
compliled I will post it to all contributors for a critique and then to the
list. All contributors will be acknowledged. I'm not sure how to make the FAQ
generally available, but I will sort that out after the FAQ has been produced.
