I am interested in what people in this group have to say about sharpness
(graininess) control in Pt/Pd Printing.
I was informed by David Fokos (beakman@netcom.com) that attaining high
image shrapness is much less a function of the emulsion than it is of the
paper type and since the paper for Pt/Pd printing is required to be
somewhat absorbent it is a bit less smooth than silver-based papers and
consequently the image is less sharp.
To what extent the chemistry can be made to enhance sharpness? and of all
the papers out there what are the types that are more favorable to
sharpness?
Thanks
