I seem to recall vaguely that there was a mistake in the Pt/Pd formulas in
this book. I mentioned this to someone recently and then tried to look
around my study here to find where I had left the note to this effect, but
I wasn't successful. Can anyone help?
I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Crawford when I was teaching at the
Maine Photo Workshop back in the early 80s. I also talked to him on the
phone a number of times after that. Last I heard of him, several years ago,
he was returning from a tv project in Vietnam for a Boston station. I don't
know what he's been up to since. I am surprised that he is not on the net.
His book, in terms of overall review of photohistory, easthetics, and
processes in general is still the best around I think. I welcome other
opinions.
