Geletin Salting
Water 280 cc
Gelatin 2 gm
Sodium Citrate 6 gm.
Ammonium Chloride 6 gm.
Soak gelatin in 100 cc water at room temp. for about 10 min. then add
the remaining 180 cc. at 43 oC. Then add and dissolve the rest of
the chemicals.
Starch Salting
Water 280 cc.
Starch 5 gm.
Sodium Citrate 6 gm.
Ammonium Chloride 6 gm.
Dissolve starch in 80 cc water at room temp. Add 200 cc. of water at
boiling point. Boil for three minutes. Remove from heat. Add the
rest of the chemicals.
Sensitizer
Distilled water 30 cc.
Silver Nitrate 4 gm.
Fixer
Water 500 cc.
Sodium Thiosulfate 50 gm.
Note some people use spray starch.
