I met Mr. Howard at the College Art Association a year ago, and was very
impressed with the quality of the prints produced with his process. They are
by far sharper than anything I have seen made with Kodak KPR chemistry --
and as printmaking materials go -- far safer than monochlorobenzene /
glycol derivatives found in the Kodak stuff. Ferric Chloride as compared
with Nitric Acid or Dutch Mordant is still by far the safest of the three--
after all,it has to eat the image into a metal surface!

I bought the book, but have never tried his process myself. I was waiting to go
to the workshop, but have yet to attend...
