There has been much talk in this group of formulae and technique and
often the mention of "Keepers of Light" ... A year or so ago saw me
lecturing on the east coast (I teach @ S. Franciso Art Inst.) and ran
across a woman who teaches in Philadelphia by the name of Sarah Van
Keuren. She has put together an excellent manual on non-Ag photography
includling: cyanotype, brownprint (Van Dyke) Palladium (Plat) and Gum
bi(di)chromate w/info on light resists and pinhole photography. My
students have purchased a number of copies and they feel it is an
excellent reference tool from a practitioner's viewpoint and experience.
This is not an ad for her book, but just a recommendation for those of
you interested. Sarah can be reached @ 6 Herford Place, Lansdowne, PA
19050. I think it costs about $15
