I think a fair bellows can be made by cutting up a couple of those
cardboard expand-a-folders. (The ones you find in office supply
stores, related to manila folders but having something like 20
pockets.) Cut up, paint black, glue back together. It's not
super durable, or pretty, but cheap, fast and saves lots of folding.
