I'm finally getting my desk cleared off and came across two
publications that might be of interest:

-----------------------

"Image transfer: clearly amazing" TEST, Fall/Winter 1994, Vol XII,
Cambridge Massachusetts: Polaroid Corporation, pgs 8-9 (cont pg 18).
[The article includes step-by-step instructions.]

-- European photographers have been among the first to explore the
creative possibilities of "emulsion transfer," a process for removing
and transferring the top image layer from Polacolor ER films - Types
669, 59, 559 and 809....Doukas notes that emulsion transfers can be
made onto virtually any surface, including sheet metal and class, and
that smooth surfaces such as these require no preparation beyond a
general cleaning.

-----------------------

POLAROID GUIDE TO INSTANT IMAGING: ADVANCED IMAGE TRANSFERRING.
Cambridge MA: Polaroid Corporation, 1991, 39 pgs.

-----------------------

The Polaroid Guide says that copies are available from the following
address:

Professional Photography Marketing Manager
575 Technology Square
Cambridge, MA, U.S.A. 02139

800-343-5000 (M-F; 08:00 - 20:00 hrs EDT)

Polaroid also has offices in many other countries, Australia, Great
Britain, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland to name a few.
