I've read a little about substitutes for dichromates but have never really
dug into their exact nature and differences. It is my recollection that
some organic dyes have been developed and are used in photo-lithography in
place of dichromates. I'd like to begin testing a replacement for the
chromes in a process similar to gum and/or carbon printing and would
rather not reinvent the wheel.

Does anyone have any experience in their use for gum or carbon printing?
