A quick comment on Cliche Verre (glass plate). Try this - get a piece
of glass the size you want the finished print to be. Spry paint one side
of it with black matt spray paint. Let it dry. Now you can scratch away
the paint with a sharp pointed tool. Note that you could transfer a
pattern using carbon paper onto the surface before scratching but it
would be a little hard to see. Once you have finished "scratching" use the
plate as your "negative." As you can see from the replys so far there are
many other possibilities.
