RE: Pt/pd clearing poll (was Potentially stupid pt/pd question)

For Ziatypes:
Developing: No development, full printout, I directly start to clear.
Clearing: 2 x 2% Citric Acid, 4 mins. each, continuous agitation,
lifting (alternating corners) and let dripping 1-2 times every minute
Rinse: w/ tap water for 10 mins. changing water every minute.

* That's for coating solutions which doesn't contain gold and/or
platinum. If I have some gold and/or platinum in the coating solution
then I also use a 2% Na4 EDTA + 2% Sodium Sulfite bath (after citric
acid baths), 10 - 15 mins., occasional agitation and lifting (every 4-5
minutes or so), then I rinse as described above.

Regards,
Loris.

Subject: Pt/pd clearing poll (was Potentially stupid pt/pd question)

Eric's comment about clearing baths started my A.D.D. mind thinking
about different clearing methods, and it made me curious about everyone
else's clearing regimine.

So I'm conducting a quick little poll. What chemistry do you all use to
clear your prints, how long, how many different baths, etc.?
