RE: Coating Box for Becquerel Development

Bruce - the varnish probably doesn't matter. The iodine should be in a glass
dish inside the box, and capped by a sliding piece of glass that is slid out
when you want to expose the plate to the iodine fumes.

Subject: Coating Box for Becquerel Development

Hi All
I have made a fuming box for Becquerel Development out of pine and would
like to varnish it but I am concerned about the effect of the varnish on the
iodine fumes. Does any one have any advice or experience with making and
varnishing fume boxes.
Thanks
Bruce
