Hi Gord,
I will make two minor suggestions, the first is admittedly
redundant, but I like it because it is both clear, handy
and oh yes, usefully redundant.
I would change
Don't send unsubscribe requests to the list.
to
Don't send unsubscribe requests to the list, send them to
mailserv@usask.ca with the following text in the body of
the message: unsubscribe alt-photo-process-L
(The first time I read the former sentence, I thought to
myself, then where would I send it? to some other list?!
The second version eliminates this kind of confusion.)
Note that there is no period used at the end of the
sentence to avoid possible confusion....
The second change I would make is from
About treating other list members with respect.
to
It's all about treating other list members with respect.
Small points but I think they would be useful.
About frequency- that's a tough one....
I do think there are too few currently however.
I doubt it would be possible but one idea would be to base
it on the number of posts made, rather than the time
elapsed.
Anyway,
Once a week might be OK, but I think that is the limit;
any more than that would be a nuisance.
What about every 10 or 15 days?
