Wow! I can surely use log 0.2 better Dmax... But can you please state the absolute values? Dmax of my prints is around log 1.40 - 1.5 (usually around 1.42). A log 0.2 increase would bring the Dmax of my prints to around 1.6 - 1.7. Is it really possible to get such Dmax from a matte paper? (IIRC, 1.6 - 1.7 is the nominal Dmax for "semi-matte" silver gelatine papers) If yes, I'll certainly use 60% AFO from now on...

Since I use 40% AFO with good results (ask Sandy), there's no need to
go for 60%.
