Re: Cyanotype paper
Hi Anne, One of the best papers for cyanotype is the the same one a number of us have found to work well with pt/pd. Inexpensive also: http://www.crane.com/business/westonpapers/platinumpalladium.aspx Otherwise you can find resume or parchment deed papers at office suppliers in letters size that work well also. Some may have watermarks though, if that matters. Alt photo is not new in Nashville. Teresa VanHatten Granath at Belmont has been making beautiful tricolor gum/cyanotype since she got there, 7 years ago. I had a show of my alt prints there in '99, during the regional SPE conference. A number of us gather there almost every year to share work and do field trips together. (None of us goes there for Opry, believe it or not.) In the past I've supplied paper that I've made but that's a lot of work! So, does anyone have suggestions of a good paper for a class that would hold up to washing, nto much sizing, if any? A good study versatile, not expensive paper. Perhaps a paper on a roll.
