I'm sorry; this last sentence is not a factual statement, if read to mean that Maimeri "carbon black" is the only watercolor paint containing a carbon black pigment. Lamp black (Pb6, Carbon black (Pb7), Charcoal black (PB8), and Ivory black (Pb9) are all carbon blacks. Just because the Maimeri version of Carbon black is the only watercolor paint that goes by the marketing name "carbon black" doesn't mean it's the only paint that contains carbon black pigment. Ilana, if you want a carbon black pigment that will give you the deepest carbon black, lamp black is the way to go.
