Re: Sheet metal cutting

OK Mark, Sure, but the difference in cost is enormous and mechanisation in the form of bandsaw or jigsaw is not as accurate as a draw tool used manually.
Any more suggestions from anyone in an inventive frame of mind?
This could be a real big issue.
               Regards.

How about a bandsaw with a metal cutting blade  or a jig saw?

For general information.

The draw tool.

This sheet cutting tool has been used for many, many years with
success. Probably from the early 19th C or possibly earlier.
If you clamp the sheet firmly along the edge of a bench or
table with a steel ruler along the line you wish to cut with a little effort
you will have a clean score line which will break easily without warping.
Score both sides of the plate.

Hope Aslan manages to overcome his problem.
