RE: Any takers on UV light read

Title: Re: Any takers on UV light read

As you know, inks have certain UV blocking abilities. IF I print out a patch using the Blacks from my 4800, I’d like to compare not only density, but if possible an actual UV number. I can obviously make prints, but I’d like to get an idea if these inks are better or worse by a number. When I contacted Cone about UV issue a number of years ago they were clueless.

I can read a density patch with my colorimeter, but not UV.

I am working with some new inks and would like to see if anyone on the list would do a UV transmission of these on OHP?  I am just getting them installed and testing general output on a 2200. I will also be trying them in my 7000 but that will be later.  Off list response is fine.
