A professor here is looking for good books on 19th century British
Photography and wondered if anyone had any suggestions? This is a
graduate art history reading seminar that focuses on theory and the
contextualizing of images within their original time frame and today.
Also, since we usually read 6-10 books she's trying to avoid including
expensive monographs if possible.
