RE: Arches Platine
Hi Manual,
I do not know about Portugal (you are in Portugal, right ? ), but Simili Japon can be bought in AFAIK in all art shops here in Holland. It is made in Holland by Van Gelder ( see http://www.petervanginkel.nl/index.php?id=925, dutch only I am afraid)
Best,
Cor

Cor,
Where do you get Simili Japon here in Europe?
Actually I use COT-320(after the no availability of Arches Platine) and :
Weston Papers for Platinum/Palladium Photographic Printing
Weston's Diploma Parchment
100% Cotton
Substance #47/177gsm
Weston Diploma Parchment is a rosin & alum sized sheet with a PH 5.5-7.5.
The sheet is not buffered with calcium carbonate.
Thanks
Regards

Hi Steven,
I would not know how to get Arches Platine, I myself use Simili Japon
for Pt printing, and I quite like it, although it has a creamy base,
perhaps you won't like that.
You could check out our friend Roger at http://www.permadocument.be/,
Brussels , Belgium.
On this list used to be (still are?) 2 other Pt printers in The
Netherlands I know of: Witho Worms at http://www.witho.nl/ and Erich
Camerling at f2hcamerling43@hetnet.nl
Perhaps you can contact them, maybe they know more..
Best,
Cor

Does anyone know if Arches Platine is available in the Netherlands?
If
not, is there a good place in Europe to order it from?
