Hey Bob,

The Epson V700 gets rave reviews from trusted colleagues, though I have no personal experience with the scanner. The V7500 adds Fluid Mount capabilities to the mix if you feel that's a nice feature. They both come with holders for 35mm negatives, 35mm slides, medium format and 4" x 5," plus a film area guide for 8"x10."

Hope this helps!

Dan

DEAR LIST,
I love my Epson 4990 scanner because it can scan up to 8X10 film.  I
recommended it to someone but discovered that it was discontinued.  What do
y’all recommend as a substitute?  Something that can scan film up to 8X10?
And comes with holders for 35mm, 2 ¼, and 4X5?
       CHEERS!
