    Ryuji, perhaps you can answer the original question 
about the difference,  if any, between deionized water and 
double distilled water asked by someone in the thread 
started by Judy.
    As far as that goes, what other terms are used for 
purified water and what exactly do they mean. In general, 
just how pure does water have to be for various photographic 
processes?
