FS: pH electrode and meter
Hi all, I understand we are allowed to post for-sale items if it's infrequent... This is a kit of Corning pH-25 handheld pH meter (standard BNC interface) and Hanna Instruments HI-1230B, epoxy body, gel-filled, double junction pH electrode. The kit also includes two packs of electrode cleaner and two packs of pH buffers (4 and 7). The meter is lightly used, and the electrode is brand new. The kit is sold for $120. I measure pH all the time (among other electrochemical measurements), and so we always have a few setups of pH measurement instruments and replace/update them rather regularly. I bought a new meter which is sold only as a kit, but I stick with one specific type of electrode, so we don't really use HI-1230B although there is nothing wrong with it. We briefly used Corning pH-25 as a portable measurement system in the past (with another Hanna electrode) but it has been unused most of the time. The value of the meter (when new) was $100 and the electrode (which IS brand new with certificate of calibration from Hanna and everything) goes for $120. Basically, you get a free meter if you buy the electrode from me. This is a gel-filled electrode, so I don't recommend it for heavy duty work but it should be usable in many situations in alt processes.
