1)  I'm sure you can download Tim Daly's article  "How to make a digital autochrome in photoshop" directly from lulu.com (for 1€ 40) using this link :
 
2)  I've no more details about adichrome than the flash animation on the link I already mentioned on Carlos Jurado web-site and the short article published in Pinhole Journal, Volume 13, isssue #3.  As usual, the best way to progress is to try, starting from the combination of the various "serious" resources which are avalaible
