for Jeremy and all - everclear source

Jeremy...

I haven't had a need for everclear yet (except for when things don't work out and I need medication)...

But where can it be found...and is it shipped across state lines?

Paul

Thanks, Paul, it's just one gum coat on top of the palladium print.

Actually, I have the print in front of me right now and the mixture I
used coated this 8x10 print and a 6.75" x 12" print using a foam
roller (the axes image from another alt list email thread about
ambidextrous coating) was:

0.2g M. Graham ivory black
0.2g Daniel Smith burnt umber
0.1g DS Indian Red
0.1g Winsor & Newton Perylene Maroon
0.1g DS Indian Yellow
0.1g DS Terra Verte

6mL saturated ammonium dichromate
6mL gum
6 drops everclear

This is sized with full strength Gamblin PVA Size on BFK Rives and I
have a few more which haven't been scanned. I also pre-shrink this
paper in a warm oxalic acid bath to ready it for the foundation
palladium layer.

On the other hand I tested a copule more papers with a 1:1 dilution, BFK
rives, which looked like a blottong paper, very porous and with a lot of
tooth (actually I got an email that somebody has been using it for a
while
and sizing it with streight form the bottle Gamblin PVA with wonderful
results).
