Hi David,


First use a piece of your clear OHP and a Standard Film Step Tablet to get the proper exposure time.
Then Print the 21 step digital step tablet on pictorico using all inks in Adobe 1998 RGB.  
Then make a pt/pd print of it.  
If your Highlights are Blown Out, lower your PT/PD contrast mix.
If your Highlights have too much tone, increase your contrast mix.

Are you saying:-
Create a 21 step digital tablet on pictorico (or some other substrate)
Make a print
Compare with stepwedge
increase contrast of emulsion till it looks the same (as the stepwedge)?

I should explain that I am a fully qualified idiot...
