Hi Chris

I am printing from Snow Leopard with my 3800 for months now, both with QuadToneRip and the latest Epson Driver (6.5.7 - from may 2009). It is used heavily in all my workshops to print negatives. The only (known, but annoying) problem I have is the 'no colormanagement option' that is not working in CS4 and Snow Leopard (with Apple and Adobe pointing fingers at each other). But there's a workaround for that: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/solving.shtml

The 6.5.7 driver I have downloaded from Epson UK: ftp://download.epson-europe.com/pub/download/3237/epson323704eu.dmg
Support info page: http://www.epson.co.uk/Printers-and-All-In-Ones/Large-Format/Epson-Stylus-Pro-3800/Drivers-Support?supportLandingPage=true (check Mac OS X - Intel from the pull down menu)

It is mentioned at some forums that this driver is not listed on the US epson site.

It is a good idea to remove the printer first from System Preferences | Print & Fax and add it again after installation of the new driver. Then check in the Options & Supplies screen (click the button in Print & Fax to check that the right driver is chosen)

For the 3880 the latest driver (6.6.0) is located here: ftp://download.epson-europe.com/pub/download/3251/epson325185eu.dmg
Support info page: http://www.epson.co.uk/Store/Printers-and-All-in-Ones/Epson-Stylus-Pro-3880/Drivers-Support?supportLandingPage=true

Just give these a try!
