I bought a copy, actually 2, of Robert's book & I can vouch for it's
uniqueness....
In a hundred years people will be staring at it the same way we do when we
see photographs documenting a wetplate photographers life...

Regards
Andy Schmitt

I am passing along an announcement made in the Photo
History list. I bought a copy of this book and strongly
recommend it to anyone interested in authentic knowledge of
how film is made.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------

Robert L. Shanebrook?s 6+ year post-retirement book is
finally available
for sale.

The book gives a simple but thorough description of film
manufacturing with
over 130 photograph and over 25 diagrams of how Kodak
makes film today.

If you want one now is the time to order.

he is not printing a large number so he hopes to sell out.
The information
is unique. It contains far more information on film
manufacturing than Kodak
has ever made public. It is unlikely that this information
will be available
from other sources. Kodak has no rights to republish anything that
is in the book.

He has received favorable endorsements and reviews.

Please share this email with anyone who might be interested
in the book. He
financed the project and is self-publishing so will
greatly appreciate
your forwarding this announcement.
