Most probably it was related to humidity indeed; I wasn't
rehumidifying the paper back then. I was timing the drying phase
only... Then I thought about adding glycerin into the coating mix (but
that was for pop palladium) and saw that it works like a charm for
maintaining a good amnt. of moisture in the paper. I remember to
mention this in the list. Mike says it works for Argyrotype too (2 - 6
drops per ml of coating solution), plus, it gives you different /
interesting color options. Try that if you like.
