Thanks Loris!
Yes, that's what I thought.

Jalo, it's always (or, usually)50% to 70% of final volume water + dry
material + water to make up final volume.
Good luck with Ziatypes! (It's the easiest / smoothest alt. process I've
ever used...)

Subject: [alt-photo] Zia standard solutions
Hello List,
I'm hoping to mix my first Ziatype solutions tomorrow. I have one basic
question:
I've been reading my three sources for Ziatype: The New Platinum Print by
Sullivan & Weese, Alt. Proc. Condensed by Chris Anderson, and Alternative
Photographic Processes (second edition) by Christopher James. They tell you
to mix your stuff with 25 ml water, only Sullivan & Weese say: water *to
make* 25 ml (the final volume)...
So, should I take 25ml water and dissolve into that, or dissolve into a
smaller quantity and fill up to 25 ml... or does it really matter?
regards,
Jalo
