I would be interested (like David) in hearing comments about adding oxalic
acid
to FO and the purpose for doing so-to make it dissolve easier? Does the FO
from B&S have oxalic acid added to it?

As I recall several notable pt/pd printers add oxalic acid to their FO when
mixing. Names such as John Rudiak, David Michael Kennedy, and Stan Klimek
come to mind. The rational for this is that the speed of the coating is
increased and ease of print clearing is increased. And at one point or
another this topic has been discussed here and there as well.

Perhaps it would be interesting reading to look at this page on the B&S
website.

It reminded me that Dr. Mike Ware regards Ferric Oxalate as an ill defined
compound and any discussion regarding molar solutions of ferric oxalate may
not be accurate as we might wish. It also was a motivating factor for Dr.
Ware to use the double ferric oxalates.

Now can someone tell me where I can purchase lithium carbonate in small
affordable quantities?
