I've been looking into these inks as well. I understand that the UV blockage 
is the same, but can't find where I may have read this (sorry).

One nice feature, according to the website, is that you can replace one ink 
at a time as your Epson inks run out and not notice a difference.

Another person to try to ask is Tyler Boley, a master digital printer who 
uses Cone inks, who hangs out occasionally at the LF Forum.
