[alt-photo] Epson 3800 Ink Expiration Date and Epson Driver

Thank you all for your suggestions and advice regarding my concerns with the Epson ink expiration dates. It is both a relief and a frustration to know that the inks are not the problem (I would certainly hate to dump all my expired inks, although I was secretly hoping for a simple solution here).
OTOH, I would love to hear if anyone has an explanation for why the PDN Color Density Range Palette prints with reduced UV blockage and visible micro-banding ONLY when outputting with adjustments made in the Epson driver's "Advanced Media Control" settings. Again, those results can be viewed here:
