[alt-photo] urgent gum clearing question

Hello All,

I have found myself needing to clear dichromate stain from my gum prints for the first time. The trouble is I need to do them in the next 8 or 10 hours and only have Sodium Sulphite or Sodium Carbonate  available as a possible clearing agent. Can either of these be used and if so what dilution etc should I use?
