Julian see this: http://www.apug.org/forums/archive/index.php/t-40640.html

Katharine said sodium sulfite (I think she was using 5% as her regular
metabisulfite clearing bath) would clear the print, albeit much slower
than metabisulfite. (In 1 hour!)

Hope this helps,
Loris.

The trouble is I need to do them in the next 8 or 10 hours and only have Sodium Sulphite or Sodium Carbonate  available as a possible clearing agent. Can either of these be used and if so what dilution etc should I use?
