Hey Chris,

I suspect that digital printing just rapidly took off in the last few  
years.  I very rarely see alt process work anywhere, and certainly not  
in juried shows, unless it's specifically an alt process show.  Even  
as little as four years ago, I'd see more than digital output-- but  
not much anymore.

As far as the List goes, it seems to me that a lot of the posters who  
kept conversations, questions, and debates going were people who are  
no longer here.  It's not much fun, and certainly not worthwhile, to  
make a post to the list and have no response whatsoever.  In fact, I  
find it a little weird, though I see it all the time here now.  My  
thought is that  many of those people who were so interested,  
knowledgeable, and interesting are no longer here (as you say-- either  
died or simply left the List).
