[alt-photo] Stuck minute hand (was "Silly" Question about a GrayLab Timer)

My Gralab's minute hand suddenly refuses to move while the second hand
continues to sweep. I don't know if the second hand isn't performing it's
"kick" to the minute hand or if it's stubborness is it's own. Has anyone
experienced this?
