DEAR LIST,

            I have been using Epson Ultrachrome cartridges for my 3800
because it has been suggested that they were relatively permanent.  They are
also around $45 US each!  I noticed LD cartridges that allegedly work as
replacements in the 3800.  

            I use my 3800 both to make enlarged diginegs for PT/PD and Cyano
printing (on topic and permanence not as important) as well as to make
prints for certain clients and purposes (off topic and permanence much more
important).  

Questions:

1)    Anyone use the LD cartridges for their 3800 (or other Epson printer)?

2)    Good or bad experiences?

3)    Anyone have authoritative data on the relative permanence or LD
pigments compared to Epson?
