Hi Marek:
 
The first part of your question, for me, is a bit too pregnant, i.e. too profuse with ideas—so I'll leave it to others to respond. However, luminosity has ALWAYS been an important issue with me. At present, I am experimenting with a thin, modified albumen finishing coat to enhance that aspect.
