[alt-photo] LED exposure lights

I had an interesting, brief conversation with an engineer from a local 
lighting manufacturer yesterday at a Home & Garden Show. He told me they 
could produce LED lamps in the 350 to 450 nm range.
With an LEDs ability to produce light at less cost and with less heat, 
it would seem to be ideal for our exposure needs. Has anyone had any 
experience with this light source for exposing carbon or gum images?
