At least in the U.S. there is a very cheap Canson watercolor pad called XL. 
It is 9 x 12 inches and 140 LB weight.  Cold Press.  I forget the exact 
price but 50 sheets are less than $10 and it is widely available.  It makes 
excellent cyanotypes without the fuss of citric acid (at least with Portland 
Oregon's water.  Doesn't work for gum and I have not done any other process.
