[alt-photo] Substrate question

For my silver printing, I use glossy paper. I do have to increase the ink density to get perfect white. Now if i switch to a film substrate such as pictorico, would that help me getting pure white without increasing the ink density? I assume no because the film is less opaque than the glossy paper but I could be wrong.Thanks for any input.Pierrehttp://www.PierreOlivierTavernier.com
