Oh, thanks so much, Marek. I really look forward to see the other layers, but I can see with this one layer how you might end up with that same sort of quality-- and it's not graininess I see-- but more of an overall textural quality that I find really appealing, though not sure how to describe it. I have a charcoal "painting" that was given to me some years ago, and it has that same texture, but also that sort of subtractive element to it, too. So I can see where you're getting that already-- but that's more from the water-brushing/spraying technique, rather than the pigment itself? And I assume you're going to be using the one negative as well? I've ordered some lamp black powered pigment, because I'm not going to deviate from Chia's "recipe." ;) But I can't wait to see our other pigment layers. Really interesting; thanks.
