Although not directly related to a topic here, I thought that considering the volume of quality information 
being dispensed here -much of it original, that a reminder about its subsequent use in publications might 
be of value.  Although some things on the net are public domain, many -including the postings here, are 
not.  Direct quotations of electronic information, single or multiple discussions, as well as forwarded 
messages should be cited in specific form.  It's still a very gray area so far, but rules and laws are springing 
up quickly to cover this new area.  The source for this information is:  Electronic Style: a guide to citing
